Our laboratory is involved in the CESMOD project, which was supported by the TAČR agency. This is a project to support the smart agenda in the Czech Republic, in which leading Czech universities (MUNI, ÚJEP, ČVUT, VŠE, VŠB), smart companies (JINAG, NSZM, ICUK, STEM/MARK, Obce v data) and the Ministry for local development. The goal of the project is to build an interdisciplinary center that supports innovative solutions in the territory and ensures long-term professional capacity for socioeconomic research in the field of resilient development, SMART and sustainable societies. The entire project is directly linked to the Smart City Concept (MMR, 2021) and its Implementation Plan, which helps to fulfill it.
Part of this is the creation of an Information and Data Platform (IDP), which optimizes the acquisition and sharing of data and information during the preparation and implementation of projects for municipalities, cities, regions and other relevant entities. The analysis, design and development of this platform is the task of our university.
